The ASA’s CEO, Marcia Balzer, invites everyone working in the sleep field in Brisbane to an after-work roundtable and networking event. You will hear from two local members about aspects of the ASA’s advocacy work they’ve been involved with. 

• Paediatric sleep physician A/Prof Jasneek Chawla will share insights from the ASA’s experience applying for new Medicare item numbers for home-based sleep studies for children
• Clinical Chair, Dr David Cunnington, will discuss recent work on increasing access to central hypersomnolence medications and related topics. 

You’ll have a chance to catch up with local colleagues, hear the latest from ASA and update the CEO on local sleep news.
