Trainee Professional Development Day
One of the highlights of the worldsleep07 Trainee Program will be the Trainee Professional Development Day, to be held on Sunday 2nd September at the Cairns Convention Centre. The Trainee Professional Development Day will start at 9am and will consist of a Keynote address and a number of concurrent, interactive workshops. Lunch will be provided. The Trainee Professional Development Day will conclude at around 4:30pm, in time for everyone to enjoy the worldsleep07 Opening Ceremony and Welcome Drinks.

All recipients of travel awards will be required to attend the Trainee Professional Development Day in order to be eligible for their award. All trainees are encouraged to attend. Registration for the day will be required as attendees must nominate which workshops they wish to attend. Registration forms will be available on the website later this year, and trainees will be notified via email also when they are available. Registration for this day is free to trainees.

Trainee Breakfasts
The trainee organising committee will be hosting trainee breakfasts on each day of the congress (Monday to Thursday) in one of the conference hotels. These breakfasts will allow trainees to meet other trainees from around the world and to meet established researchers and have the opportunity to speak with them in a relaxed environment. If trainees have questions arising from presentations/sessions held previously in the conference they can also be raised here, and hopefully answered.

There is no cost to trainees to attend these breakfasts.
