Sleep Medicine Research Review

Issue 12 – 2016
This issue of Sleep Medicine Research Review reports an important study that looked at the impact of CPAP treatment on cardiovascular outcomes in OSA patients with established cardiovascular disease, and Canadian findings that maternal SDB in the third trimester increases the risk of delivering small for gestational age infants. It also includes a number of studies of the use of CBTi in adults (and 1 in school-age children) with chronic insomnia, and finished with a report of OSA in children with Down syndrome.
