Professor Colin Sullivan featured in the The Lancet
20th Jun 11
Many of you may already have seen the profile of Professor Colin Sullivan that appeared in the 30 April 2011 edition of The Lancet (click here to read the article).
I wanted to reinforce the enormous significance of this type of acknowledgement from the Lancet and offer congratulations to Professor Sullivan for this deserved recognition.
Colin's contribution to our field is immeasurable. In fact, Sleep Medicine only really evolved after therapy for sleep apnoea was described. The existence of the ASA itself (in a large way) is also because of Colin's tremendous drive. Colin continues to be a driving force in the field and in the ASA today and we all appreciate his ongoing involvement in the Association and the Annual Scientific Meetings.
On behalf of the Australasian Sleep Association, I would like to congratulate Colin on this recognition by the Lancet and thank him for his ongoing contributions to our Association.
