Obstructive sleep apnoea grant opportunity

The Medical Research Future Fund has announced a major targeted funding round for research focussed on optimising the screening, diagnosis and management of OSA.

“This is excellent news, and an extremely positive outcome for the MRFF Roundtable on OSA held earlier this year that ASA and many of our members participated in,” said ASA President Elect, Garun Hamilton, who attended the meeting.

The three funding streams focus on new approaches to diagnosis, comparing Levels 3 and 4 sleep studies with Levels 1 and 2 studies, and co-designed novel approaches to management.
