Women's leadership scholarships

Women and Leadership Australia (WLA) have partial scholarships for women ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 per person, for one of four leadership and workplace skill development programs.  
 
These scholarships are aimed at encouraging more women to increase their impact at work, progress their career, and step into leadership roles.

CEO Roundtable Hobart

Join your local colleagues and the ASA’s CEO for an after-work roundtable discussion on all things sleep plus a roundup of the latest research on co-morbid insomnia and OSA (COMISA).

The ASA’s CEO, Marcia Balzer, invites everyone working in the sleep field in Hobart to an after-work roundtable and networking event. 

You’ll have a chance to catch up with local colleagues, hear the latest from the ASA and update the CEO on local sleep news. The ASA’s Commonwealth grant program manager, Dr Alexander Sweetman, will also give a presentation on the latest research on co-morbid insomnia and OSA (COMISA). 

Interested general practitioners and other primary health care practitioners are welcome to register and attend. This is a free event, however registration is required so we know to expect you.

Sleep in Aotearoa 2024
The annual scientific meeting of ASA's NZ Branch, Sleep in Aotearoa will be held at the University of Otago, Dunedin, 20-21 June 2024. This is a face-to-face meeting only and the sessions won’t be recorded or live streamed.

Including a keynote Address by Dr Tony Fernando, don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to catch up on the latest research, and the latest news from colleagues across Aotearoa New Zealand. 

Australian colleagues – this is a great opportunity to combine a visit to the South Island and see the spectacular sights of Central Otago, Milford Sound and more.
