Rob pierce grant in aid

Submissions are now open for the 2022 Rob Pierce Grant in Aid.

This Grant commemorates Professor Rob Pierce who was tragically killed whilst defending his home in St Andrews, Victoria during the Black Saturday bushfire in February 2009.

The purpose of this annual Grant in Aid is to facilitate a project in the field of sleep research for a new investigator. Applicants should be training in sleep research or a clinical sleep discipline. Applicants must have completed and submitted their PhD thesis or equivalent and be less than 5 years postdoctoral from PhD award date at the time of the application deadline. The grant could be used as seed funding for a project, to collect pilot data or for equipment, and should be completed within 12 months of the Award. 

Applications must be submitted online via the ASA website by Friday 29th April 2022

The successful applicant will be announced at the annual scientific conference - Sleep DownUnder 2022 in Brisbane 9-11 November. 

 

  

 
 

Ventilator Data in Clinical Practice Survey

Austin Health are inviting you to take part in their project, Ventilator Data in Clinical Practice by completing a web-based survey. The aim of the project is to learn about the use of Ventilator Data (downloads).  It is hoped that it will help them to understand the use of tele-monitoring and clinical decision-making in the care of ventilated individuals.
