Cutting edge clinical masterclass on hypersomnolence

Our virtual clinical masterclass on hypersomnolence is on its way on Saturday 31 July. 

 

The masterclass will offer an in-depth clinical focus and cutting-edge presentations from international experts, along with thoughtful interactive learning opportunities hosted by local clinical experts in hypersomnolence.

Time to renew your ASA subscription

Your ASA subscription for 2021-22 is due on 30 June. 

 

Why should you renew?

There are many benefits for being part of the ASA community, including:

  • Our Education Centre, full of free and low-cost member education on demand
  • Access to special interest Councils, including a new Council created by and for early career sleep researchers - NEST
  • As part of an exciting new partnership with the Sleep Research Society (SRS), all ASA members now have free online access to the journals SLEEP and Sleep Advances.

And of course, our first-ever hybrid event, Sleep DownUnder, to be held 10-13 October 2021 in Brisbane and online!

 

To pay now, log in to the ASA website with your member details and renew through your profile (read how). Alternatively, call 02 9920 1968 to renew by phone with your credit card.


To make renewing even easier we have introduced the auto-renew feature. Simply set it up when you renew this year and you will be billed automatically next year – don’t worry, we’ll let you know before we charge you. 


And while you’re renewing, please take a moment to make sure your details are up to date and check your preferences tab. It is particularly important to review the permissions statements so that we comply with our new privacy policy.

Sleep and Big Data: New Virtual Issue

SLEEP have just published a virtual special issue on Big Data and with the ASA's new partnership with the Sleep Research Society (SRS), all ASA members now have free online access.

 

Learn how we can mine big data to improve the accuracy of diagnosis of sleep and circadian disorders in the new Virtual Issue from SLEEP.

 

The Virtual Issue explores methods for identifying distinct subgroups of patients or trait clusters, tools for understanding and predicting treatment responses, and ways to determine parameters as predictors of future physical and mental health. Start reading

World Sleep Society News

Free Registration for World Sleep Virtual Meeting
As a member society benefit, all ASA members receive free registration for World Sleep Virtual Meeting. The next meeting is 24 - 25 June and will include almost 19 hours of content. All content from the previous meetings, as well as this upcoming meeting, will remain free and on-demand through December 2021. Register here


Symposia for World Sleep 2022
The deadline for symposia submissions for World Sleep 2022 is 30 June. Submitters can create accounts here.

It is also important to discuss the government and public health response to the disease outbreak.
