Presidents Award

This award will be presented at the discretion of the President to an individual or group of individuals to recognise and honour a significant and sustained contribution by him, her or them to the work of the Australasian Sleep Association in achieving its aims and objectives.

One award only can be made in any financial year. It may not necessarily be made each year.

The award will be presented by the President at the annual scientific meeting of the Association. The award will take the form of a medal, or other suitable memento, as decided by the President.

Awarded by: Shantha Rajaratnam For their outstanding contributions to the education of General Practitioners (GP) and Psychologists in the field of Sleep Health and Sleep Medicine, as chairs of the GP Education Sub-Committee and Behavioural Management of Sleep Disorders Sub-Committee of the Education Committee.
