This is a permanent, predominantly daytime position and primarily provides overseeing the daily operation of the service in collaboration with senior staff. This includes supervision and staff training, quality assurance, documentation of policies and procedures and general laboratory maintenance for the Sleep Investigation Unit, in addition to scoring sleep studies. This is an evolving role vital to the development of the Central Coast Sleep Service. In the initial stages (during the service commissioning process), flexibility of duties and working hours will be required. Good communication skills are essential. A high priority is placed on excellence with best practice and ongoing development and improvement.
